Successful Women

As I randomly browse through the net, I stumbled upon PwC blog. My heart feels warm after reading some of their successful women employees' story. I've always admire women who manage to juggle between family, career and other commitments. I wonder how do they do it because it seems impossible to me. Erm, I have not reached there yet. =.=

Here, take time to read.

Elham Hassan

Model No.2

Irina Tsvetkova

Tanya Rukavina

Cansen Basaran Symes

Paula Loop

Hazel Claxton

Wanda Eriksen

Model No.8

Karen Vander Linde

The similarity here is that they are all women, duh... They strive to lead a balance life. I believe everyone, regardless of your gender or marital status, all are trying their very best as well. Agree? As we can see from the above real life stories, most of them are mothers. Wow! That's incredible! Career? Children? Family? Leisure? Wouldn't it be a heck of life for them? Nope, they prioritize their responsibilities. What about working alongside with the men? Utilize the aptitudes within you. Do extent your care and hospitality, sincerely. Yea, those are the secret weapons. Think about it, how often will men discuss about family issues when they get together? Rarely. They favorite topics are still sports, automobiles and the latest gadgets. Opps, did I just stereotype men? Woman shall stay as a woman and man shall stay as a man. Do not try to be a man by starting a 'man' topic unless you are really expose to it. Not forgetting to be yourself whether in work or in a conversation. Be confident at all times! Surely, the women contributions would be valued and voices heard.

3 in Dec 2009

Hohoho!

It's the Attitude and not Aptitude that determines one's Altitude.

So true!

I got my result today.

F5 Performance Measurement
Expected to fail. So it failed. It just 2 marks away to pass. I dislike this subject! This is not good. This will be my 4th attempts. Grrrr.....

F6 Taxation
Expected to pass. So it passed. By 2 marks. ^^v

F8 Audit and assurance
Expectation is 50:50 and I passed! The highest marks I ever get in my entire ACCA exam in only one attempt. However, many people failed this subject. I like this subject and I think that helped.

It's time for a change of attitude towards F5.

Press on!!!

I'll see you in exam hall in the month of Dec 2009,

F5 performance Measurement
P2 Corporate Reporting
P3 Business Analysis

this is the day that the Lord has made

A heavy downpour half an hour ago left the sky crystal clear with some misty mist, which mark my first time witnessing a heavy downpour from my room. ^^v

I thanked God for this is the day that He has made. ^^

view from window no.2
see the mist? quite a big patch one

view from balcony
KLCC Tower with mist

I'm 40 mins away from Genting Highland that is why I manage to see mist despite of staying in the well known polluted KL's air.
A blessing! =)
I don't really get to see mist back at home.

a big piece of patch work - sis's blankie
drying the blankie but still no sign of sunshine
hahaha

Our Police department might have problem answering their auditors when they perform physical check on asset because one of their asset is held under my custody illegally. =p

Ok, I shall cook lunch later.
Then revise my work.
P2, Corporate Reporting sometimes left me @@ but I still like it.
P3, Business Analysis proofs my English is not up to par and I need a bigger hard disk to store more models, frameworks and theories.
More more subjects....... have to wait for the week after next week. Argh!

By the time I finished this post, the mist has already gone with the wind. Beautiful moment has a short life span. So, appreciate it while you are able to.

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
