I'm officially stressed, not missing you.

Ohhhh!!! I have not been blogging lately, for this month to be exact. I'll give you the same old reason that will always worked, "I'm busy."

Okies, updates:

I had 13 days of IRC (Intensive Revision Class) marathon. Mind you, continuously, for the first 2 weeks of this month. To add on, most of the classes start at 10am and end at 5pm. How I wish I could just be there like 1/2 an hour before lesson begins but apparently that is not going to happen because we have to reach early to 'chup' place. It is like choosing seat with a nice view in the cinema. Welcome to the real world! I thanked God for the strength to go through this horrendous experience. Oh, Charis came over to stay with me for 2 nights so that she doesn't to travel one hour daily to class from Nilai. She is still lovely and smart. Yes, she is!!! I hope to be a good host but the management of my condo doesn't allow me too. We are downed with water crisis. Grrr!!!!! Sorry ar Charis, I hope you are not traumatized by this. In the toilet where....you.... ahem, I'll shhhh. XD

Next paragraph....

I think some rats bit and ripped off the water pump or tank. Or maybe some itchy hands did something to the main pipe. Water supply amazingly stopped after 7pm and only resumed after 10am the next day. Such eventful incident happened like 3 times in a week and continued for the weeks to come. I dare not even think of the consequences if fire broke out at night. (Adios then) Thereafter comes some other more eventful events. I saw housewives with pails walked into the lift to fill water downstairs and after filling water. That is not unusual. It is when they complained and the conversation among them that caught my attention. Indeed, they are desperate housewives. LOL! It is quite mean to say it was funny, but I did laugh a little when I saw that scene. *close my mouth with both hands to avoid laughing out loud* But so far, the water supply is clean and constant. I hope it won't happen again.

I had dinner with jun liang. I think he is deprived of good food badly. Since we are staying nearby, it is appropriate for me to show some love by inviting him to join us for dinner. Dad paid the bill as usual, haha. We had a good time of eating and catching up.

I'm officially stressed (don't ask me to spell it another way round), not missing you. Exam's woes again. May God have mercy on me in this coming exam. I need more time. I need more wisdom. I need more faith. Would you pray for me? Thanks! :)

I'm coughing. *cough cough cough* I want to recover before exams start. It is on the 14th, 15th, 16th of next month. Would you pray for me? Thanks! :)

One last thing! I'm officially 21. That makes me not a girl and not yet a women. True! I'm just a child of God. :) Thank you everyone for all the sweet wishes on facebook, smsess and calls.

Dinner time, bye!

With a lot a lot of love,
sherene

1st fish porridge cooking in KL -- A success!

Who wants to eat porridge? Fish porridge anyone? Chinese style.

I had my first porridge cooking experience today, not in my life but in KL. Yay! ^^v
Sister: How come yours is different from the one I cooked last time?
Me: Of course! The cook is a different person. :p

I used the following ingredients:
A. Red Dates (Hong Zhao)
B. Some dried mushrooms
C. Some gingers
D. Some carrots
E. Fish of your choice. Cleaned.
*I love ikan jenak (instant fish, according to google translate) very much!
F. Rice

Instructions:
1.Wash clean A.
2. Cut B. to D. into cubic size.
3. Prepare a pot water with rice to cook porridge.
4. Put 1. and 2. into 3.
5. Let it boils.
6. After around 10 mins, add fish that had been cleaned earlier on into the boiling pot.
7. Add some salt.
8. After 10 mins, your fish porridge is ready to be served.

The whole process took less than 1/2 hour. Of course you can eliminate some ingredients if you don't prefer them and add others to your liking.

I have no picture to guide you all and I am sorry for that. I was too hungry to take picture of every process okay?

Now everyone can cook. (It sounds like AirAsia's slogan - Now everyone can fly) LOL!
All the best in your fish porridge cooking endeavoring! :)

Ant without Z

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!

It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,

yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Proverbs 6:6-8

This particular passage of the Bible recurred 2 times today.

I have goals. Have you heard of the acronym SMART for goals setting? It goes like this,

S-specific

M-measurable

A-attainable

R-realistic

T-time-bound

Right now, it boils down to my commitment, determination and dedication to achieve my goals. Be ready for the future and that requires me to lay a firm foundation that is to graduate with a degree at least. Most of all is to seek His guidance as I take on life step by step.

This is an ant's life!
The friendship between a man and a woman which does not lead to marriage or desire for marriage may be a life long experience of the greatest value to themselves and to all their circle of acquaintance and of activity; but for this type of friendship both a rare man and a rare woman are needed. Perhaps it should be added that either the man or the woman thus deeply bound in lifelong friendship who seeks marriage must find a still rarer man or woman to wed, to make such a three cornered comradeship a permanent success.

When you can't see Jesus,
Jesus sees you.

He sees your hard work, exhaustion, sorrow, fear, and your lack of progress and he cares deeply for you.

When you can't come to Jesus,
Jesus comes to you

in unexpected and powerful ways. His coming is not always to deliver us that he is still in control and will not let us be overwhelmed.

When you can't speak to Jesus,
Jesus speaks to us.

He speaks powerful words of assurance: "I am here."

"Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." Mark 6:50

Again I see these words, DON'T BE AFRAID.
