I'm officially stressed, not missing you.
Okies, updates:
I had 13 days of IRC (Intensive Revision Class) marathon. Mind you, continuously, for the first 2 weeks of this month. To add on, most of the classes start at 10am and end at 5pm. How I wish I could just be there like 1/2 an hour before lesson begins but apparently that is not going to happen because we have to reach early to 'chup' place. It is like choosing seat with a nice view in the cinema. Welcome to the real world! I thanked God for the strength to go through this horrendous experience. Oh, Charis came over to stay with me for 2 nights so that she doesn't to travel one hour daily to class from Nilai. She is still lovely and smart. Yes, she is!!! I hope to be a good host but the management of my condo doesn't allow me to be one. We are downed with water crisis. Grrr!!!!! Sorry ar Charis, I hope you are not traumatized by this. In the toilet where....you.... ahem, I'll shhhh. XD
Next paragraph....
Maybe some rats bit and ripped off the water pump or tank. Or perhaps some itchy hands did something to the main pipe. Water supply amazingly stopped after 7pm and only resumed after 10am the next day. Such eventful incident happened like 3 times in a week and continued for the weeks to come. I dare not even think of the consequences if fire broke out at night. (Adios then) Thereafter comes some other more eventful events. I saw housewives with pails walked into the lift to fill water downstairs and after filling water. That is not unusual. It was their complains and the disgruntled conversations between them that caught my attention. Indeed, they are desperate housewives. LOL! It is quite mean to say it was funny, but I did laugh a little when I saw that scene. *close my mouth with both hands to avoid laughing out loud* But so far, the water supply is clean and constant. I hope it won't happen again.
Had dinner with jun liang. I think he is deprived of good food badly. Since we are staying nearby, I invited him to join us for dinner. Hence showing some love. Anyway, he did mention that he wanted to join us for dinner before this. We had a good time of eating and catching up. Dad paid the bill as usual, haha.
I'm officially stressed (don't ask me to spell it another way round), not missing you. Exam's woes again. May God have mercy on me in this coming exam. I need more time. I need more wisdom. I need more faith. Would you pray for me? Thanks! :)
I'm coughing. *cough cough cough* I want to recover before exams start. It is on the 14th, 15th, 16th of next month. Would you pray for me? Thanks! :)
One last thing! I'm officially 21. That makes me not a girl and not yet a women. True! I'm just a child of God. :) Thank you everyone for all the sweet wishes on facebook, smsess and calls.
Dinner time, bye!
With a lot a lot of love,
sherene

Wake me up when September ends
For some western countries, it means the end of summer.
For some corporate organizations, it means the end of the 3rd quarter of the year. It is time for performance evaluation of the quarter and forecasting of budget for the next quarter.
For some, it is just another day.
For me, it is time to get back on the study track and start running. Studies get harder at final stage!
Nevertheless, I thanked God that I survived my full 3 months of life here. :) Ahem, though it is plain nothing. But it is still better than something bad happen.
Focus!

Darkness creeps in at night
Someone said this: 'Quantity is more important than quality.'
Referring to food here. Sorry, I'm not going to support this.
That is because my roommate and me never turn on the light before we went out.
Hey, but I went out first before her. :P
I turned on the light but it gave a dim light. It flickered a few times. Then it dies off. Leaving two orange/brownish light at the two end.
Everything in my room is startlingly darker by one tone, maybe more.
I thought of going out from my room to common room to do revision, which means an open area in inti uc to study. It is not a good choice because common room = pasar malam.
Next time, I'll captured the pasar malam moment!!!
Hmm... Maybe I should just ignore the darker side of my room and carry on with my revision.
Cannot la...
Not enough lighting. I feel sleepy.
Grrr....
So here am I blogging about a dead florescent light instead of doing revision. Dang!

Half curse
Awaken by alarm clock at 9 am. However, my body couldn't be lifted up from the bed. I lied down with eyes open big for one hour. Then I sat at the edge of the bed, hugging my bolster for half an hour or so and still under the curse of a spell name sluggishness. Then I prayed, as usual. It's a good start to start off a day. Yea, prayer worked. The spell got 'cast out'. So here am I blogging. Anyone catch the point? It means, I have not bathed, brushed teeth, make bed and breakfast. It's 11.30 am right now. XDLotsa unfinished work to be completed! Sien...
All I want is a chill out on saturday.
Question: Should I make my blog public?

O blooded ( mourning over dairy product & grains & whole meal product )
Peter D'Adamo writes that
| | |
| Peter J. D'Adamo ND Credit: eDiets.com |
[t]he essence of the blood type connection rests in these facts:
- Your blood type - O, A, B, AB - is a powerful genetic fingerprint that identifies you as surely as your DNA.
- When you use the individualized characteristics of your blood type as a guidepost for eating and living, you will be healthier, you will naturally reach your ideal weight, and you will slow the process of aging.
- Your blood type is a more reliable measure of your identity than race, culture, or geography. It is a genetic blueprint for who you are, a guide to how you can live most healthfully.
- The key to the significance of blood type can be found in the story of human evolution: Type O is the oldest; Type A evolved with agrarian society; Type B emerged as humans migrated north into colder, harsher territories; and Type AB was a thoroughly modern adaptation, a result of the intermingling of disparate groups. This evolutionary story relates directly to the dietary needs of each blood type today. cool huh? O blooded ppl are ancient ppl.
Fundamental to this theory is the idea that lectins, proteins found in many foods of high nutritional value, have glue-like properties that affect your blood. "Simply put," writes D'Adamo, "when you eat a food containing protein lectins that are incompatible with your blood type antigen, the lectins target an organ or bodily system...and begin to agglutinate blood cells in that area". Each of the four blood types is described in terms of an antigen. Type O is the simplest, comprised of a basic sugar called fucose. The Type A antigen consists of fucose and N-acetyl-galactosamine; Type B, of fucose and D-galactosamine; and Type AB, of fucose, N-galactosamine and D-galactosamine. Each of these antigens presents a "unique shape," and lectins fitting that shape can interact. Food lectins interact with and agglutinate cells of one blood type at left; but not with those of another type at right, because its cells possess a different shape.
Too technical! Tak faham! Erm, will I get sued for copying and pasting?

- "Type Os can efficiently digest and metabolize meats because they tend to have high stomach-acid content...[but they] must be careful to balance...meat proteins with the appropriate vegetables and fruits to avoid over-acidification, which can cause ulcers and irritation of the stomach lining."
- Recommend type Os "consume no more than six ounces [of meat] at any one meal"
Hey, I'm a carnivore!!! ^^v
You can take away pork. It's fine with me. :) Buffalo anyone?

- Type Os "severely restrict their use of dairy products", because these are difficult for Os to metabolize and "there are no highly beneficial foods in this group."
- Egg --> "generally a poor protein source" for Os.
- A daily calcium supplement is recommended, particularly for women, since dairy is the best source of natural calcium.

- Moderate use of beer is acceptable, and "modest quantities of wine are allowed, but it shouldn't be a daily ritual."
This is hilarious! I'm a drinker??? XD

Alright! Increase meat intake and reduce carbo intake with a balance vege + fruit.

rueful valentine
Valentine's Day is mentioned ruefully by Ophelia in Hamlet (1600-1601):
=pTo-morrow is Saint Valentine's day,
All in the morning betime,
And I a maid at your window,
To be your Valentine.
Then up he rose, and donn'd his clothes,
And dupp'd the chamber-door;
Let in the maid, that out a maid
Never departed more.(William Shakespeare, Hamlet, Act IV, Scene 5)
